Do you know if the MD driving test must be taken in a MD registered vehicle or can we use any vehicle (registered in any state) that is properly insured, and mechanically operable?

Answer
I am not aware of any state that mandates the vehicle has to be registered in the state that it was giving the driving test.  I do not think that would be a consitutionally legal requirement because if you are coming from a different state to take the local test you can use the vehicle you brought with you.  It would be prudent to be sure the vehicle you use is currently registered and mechanically sound.
