Driving & Driving Test Tips: age for drivers license, dept of motor vehicles, driving lessons

i live in the state of Oklahoma and in Oklahoma you can get your drivers permit at the age of 15 and a half, but i was wondering when you turn 16 years old can you go get your permit(if you havent already taken it) then go take your drivers license right afterwards since you are already 16(and not 15 and a half any more) or do you still have to wait 6 months to get your drivers license?

I would not know the answer to that question, as I live in New York.  

I would recommend you either call your Dept of Motor Vehicles or a local driving school.

In addition, I would recommend you have at least 2 or 3  professional driving lessons.
