Driving & Driving Test Tips: braking while driving, engine speed, clutch

Question
while driving i need to brake a little bit just to slow down a bit but not to stop, do  i press the clutch down a bit or do i have to put it all the way down.

If you sre only going to slow down a little bit just step on the brake lightly and you do not have to use the clutch at all.  only if you are going to slow down so that it would effect the engine speed (braking hard) then you would have to use the clutch and down shift.
