4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: Honda Pilot towing

I have a 2008 Pilot that I am considering adding a hitch to in order to attach a cargo carrier such as this one from etrailer:

I have never had a hitch on any vehicle nor done any towing so I just want to make sure this can be done without putting excess strain on the vehicle.  I anticipate using the cargo carrier for a snowblower/lawnmower etc occasionally.  Any guidance is very much appreciated.  Thank you.

I would have the hitch installed at a reputable dealer, and at this time, the dealer should be able to look up the load rating for the Pilot.  With the information you have given me, it looks like you will be towing a light load, which should be no problem.
