4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: 90 jeep cherokee front end, death wobble, jeep cherokee

Question
I have a jeep Cherokee its a 1990 4x4 replaced trac bar due to shaking in frontend death wobble but its still there I looked and seems like the bearings are good and everythings good and tight with no play I did see though a broken motor mount would it really cause this shaking

Answer
Michael,

The broken motor mount would cause major vibrations in the drive train, but not in the steering or tires.  If you have over sized tires, then they may not be balanced or out of round.  Biased ply tires are notorious for getting flat spots and causing this.  Other items are worn steering components, such as tie rod or drag link ends.  Bad shocks are another major component that can cause this.

If these are all checked out, then you may have to install a steering stabilizer or replace one if there is one installed.
