4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: Car hesitates, chevy blazer, 2000 chevy blazer

In the mornings when I go to work, I give the car (2000 Chevy Blazer 4wd) gas and it hesitates and jerks, I let off and give it more gas and smoothes out a little until I stop and then I proceed all over again. This happens if it is humid or it has rained, after about 40 mph it will smooth out and also after about 15 minutes it will not do it again. Any clue? Thank you

Many possibilities.

The first thing I would do is to run a good brand of fuel system cleaner through the engine.  You may have moisture in the gas and a good cleaner will help clear this out.  This would also help if you have plugged or dirty injectors.

There are several sensors that can cause this also.  If the cleaner doesn't help, you may have to go to a reputable shop and have the Blazer scanned for errors.
