4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: Canister, chevy blazer, tbis

Question
I have a 1987 Chevy Blazer 4x4 with a 350 5.7 V8 TBI RPO=LO5. I have changed oil in it a million times. This last time I changed the oil I saw a hose from the canister that is not hooked to any thing. the diagram under the hood says it should go to port A on the TBI. There is not a Port A on the TBI. The other smaller hose is T'ed between the PCV valve and port C on the TBI. That is how it shows on the diagram. Two questions: Where should it go and is it possible that when they over hauled my engine they some how sawped TBIs?

Answer
Tom, It is very possible that some things didnt get hooked up exactly how they  need to be, I just worked on a 4.3 where someone had changed the engine, and didnt hook things up right, But on that truck as well it said one of the hoses should go to port a and ther was not one, but the truck seemed to run just fine. It was just plain emmissions on that one. DOes your Blazer run right ? ADAM
