97 CHEVROLET 1500 Elec Cont Unit do you know how to bypass pass-lock system i get no spark i had a ford that the key fell out and it acted the same way no start no spark

David, I dont think there is a good way to bypass the pass lock system, there is a way to reprogram some of them though , turn the key to the on postion and leave it on for 15 or 20 min, and than go back to the vehicle turn the key off , than turn it on and try to start it. That fixed a promlem we had in the shop last week with a monte carlos. Thanks ADAM
