Hi, driving along, car stalls, starts to smoke a heap ..and i mean a heap..of white smoke out the tail pipoe. oil light went on, stopped, topped up oil..which wouldnt go down the oil fill tube very easily..was 'backing up'..start 4wd, car ran..but smoked like it was on fire !!..temp is perfect, car idles perfect..tapping noise from upper engine area when i past 2000rpm...think i now overfilled the oil as theres oil in the air cleaner box and on the filter..Any idea ?

you have a blown head gasket. the overfilling and backing up of oil into the air box is the fact of water being pumped into the engine oil and overflowing in the cranckcase. You need to adress this problem ASAP to keep from damaging the engine any further
