i was just told that my transfer case is bad my husband is in Iraq and I don't know what to do. I was told abor 2,ooo to repair, can you please give me a little info on this like my options and such.

First off I would like to tell you I have much respect for what your husband is doing to protect our country and on behalf of myself and Allexperts I would like for you to tell him "Thank You!"
    On The transfer case, Exactly what is the truck doing? If it just isn't shifting the most common cause is the shift motor on the transfer case itself wich is much less expensive. This may have both the 4 wheel hi and 2 wheel lights on on the dash. If you could give me some better detail I will do whatever I can to help the wife of an american soldier

Here is also a site that sells remanufactured transfer cases to see the average price of it, just click on expedition to see the prices at the bottom. I will also look around on some used parts dealers who may have a good transfer case you could use
