4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: ball joint problems, torsion bars, gmc sierra

Question
I HAVE A 1994 2WD GMC SIERRA 1500 WITH A FABTECH 7.5 INCH LIFT WITH A 3 INCH BODY LIFT.MY QUESTION IS WHY DO MY UPPER BALL JOINTS SMACK MY FRAME WHEN I OFFROAD? ALSO WHY DO ALL FOUR BLOW OUT ALL THE TIME IT GETS VERY FRUSTRATING LISTENING TO THEM SQUEAK WHEN I TURN. I ALSO HAVE 3 QUARTER TON A ARMS, SHOULD I GET AFTER MARKET UPPER AND LOWER A ARMS. AND IF I CAN BUY THEM WERE CAN I GET THEM AT?

Answer
Those 3/4 ton a arms are probably your issue. The geometry of the suspension on a 3/4 ton is a bit different from a 1500. I'm sure fabtech makes revised a arms as well as revised ball joints for the front. Also did you lift the front end with the kit parts of dod you re adjust the torsion bars? If you did the bars this will never go away until the right kit is installed. The angle of the a arms is too extreme if you used the torsion bars and you will need the frame to relocate the front differential and a arms to fix the problem
