4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: td freelander, landrover freelander, head gasket

hi Matt
i brought a Landrover Freelander 1998 turbo diesel six months ago just replaced the head gasket its starts after a few a temps but has no acceleration checked all switches can't find the fault hope you can help

Sounds like the fuel timin could be off. did you have toremove the injection pump or anything like that. I think the fuel injection pum or gear driven fuel pump is out of time causing it to drop fuel into the cylinders at the wrong time. Check a service manual for proper procedures and trouble shooting tips
