4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: Wheel Bearing, hub, good luck

Question
My front driver side wheel bearing is shot, how do i know if i need to replace the entire hub or just the bearing itself.  I've never done this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would just replace the wheel bearing unless the hub has severe damage to the inner bearing race on it. So go ahead and just replace the bearing itself, and if you still have the same problem look into replacing the hub. But chances are you wont have to replace the hub. Good luck.
