4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: hook up accessory mirror with light, inline fuse, rear view mirror

Our 89 wrangler has no interior lights. we bought an inside replacement rear view mirror with map lights. it has to behooked into the fuse box. where do i hook the positive wire? Thanks.

You don't have to go through the existing fuse box.  All you need to do is to find a positive wire to tap to.  Just make sure that you install an inline fuse in the wire.  A cheap voltmeter, or test light can be used to find the wire you want to tap into.
