4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: cheverlot blazer, cheverlot, gear ratios

hi bud
im a voulunter also in plaster and dry wall.my question is i have a 1997 blazer,and my owners manual list towing specs for different gear ratios.how do i know or find my rear end gear ratio,i want to tow a trailer ,and the specs go from 4000 to 5000 lbs ,thanks jim temple in mich

If you call the parts department at your local Chevrolet dealership and give them the VIN (serial number) located on the drivers door and on the drivers side of the dash inside the windshield they should be able to give you the information you need.  Best of luck, Bud
