Check out your area for wrecking yards.  There are several different vehicles that have steering columns that can be adapted to your Jeep.  Another option, would be to contact any 4x4 clubs in your area, and see if any of the members can help you find a local source.

Most of the wrecking yards should be able to look up replacement parts on their computer.  Many different units can be used, but may need some modification.  This is where a contact with a 4x4 club may be able to help, as many members have, probably done similar installations.  I have seen everything from Cadillac to Chevy columns used.
