4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: Rear Bumperettes, rusted bolts, wd 40

Question
One of my rear bumperettes is dented and has a form like a "W". The shape is supposed to be a "U". I already tried taking it off but the bolts are too rusty so how can I get the form back with it still attatched? Thanks a lot.              Nick

Answer
Nick,

The only easy way to get the shape back, is to replace it.  They are not overly expensive.  As far as the rusted bolts go, there are several penetrating oils on the market just for that purpose.  Spray a good penetrating oil (not WD-40), onto the nut side of the bolt, and let it soak for an hour or so.  If this is still a problem, you can use a long breaker bar and socket to remove the bolt.  If the bolt breaks, this shouldn't hurt you any, as the bolt will simply fall out, and with the bolts being that rusty, they should be replaced anyway.
