Im thinking of buying a santa fe as i like the
style but am courious about dependability and
quality. please help

Hyundai, in the past, has had severe problems with quality but seem to be improving.  They also have the 100k warranty which covers the drive train.  If you are going to keep the vehicle for a long time it is probably a good buy but if you are going to trade it in 2 or 3 years I would look to Toyota or Honda as they have excellent reliability and enjoy an excellent resale value.  If you have further detailed questions please feel free to let me know.  In any case, bust of Luck, Bud
