Isuzu: rear axle type and interchangability, wheel disk brakes, honda passport

Question
ok i have a 95 rodeo 2wd with a 3.2l 6cyc.the rear end exploded on me and i need to replace it.I know it is a gm rear end because the isuzus didnt have covers on the rear of them.what I need to know is what gm rear end is in it and gear ratio and what other vehicles they came in?Ive been told it could be either a dana 44 or a gm 10 bolt but dunno which it is.it also has 4 wheel disk brakes w/rear antilock if that makes a difference. thank you

Answer
Hi there,
It should be a gm 10 bolt. Count the bolts on the housing, then you can call any parts store and ask them to look it up or go to Isuzu.com and call the 800 #, give them your vin# and they will tell you everything you need to know. I know for a fact thet Honda Passport parts are direct replacement for Rodeo's and some Trooper, and they have alot of them in salvage yards. That would be your cheapest way out.
good luck!
