How do I reset my airbag indicator light? Itried undoing the battery,Do I have to drive it for awhile before the light goes out? the vehicle is a 1997 jeep wrangler tj

Sounds like you have a problem with the air bag.  The light indicates there is a problem.  The only way to cut it off is with a scanner.  The clock spring usually goes bad in these vehicles, and that causes the air bag light to come on.  Get it checked out!  If the light is on more than likely the air bag will not work.  Hope I could help!
