Jeep: rear windshiled wiper, rear windshield wiper, jeep grand cherokee

Question
during operation, rear windshield wiper in my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee stopped in far left position. Checked fuse and it's ok. Is this a wiper motor problem?  Can a repair like this be done by a non-expert (me!)?

thanks

Answer
The wiper motor is most likely siezed, This is and easy repair. The wiper motor is not cheap but it is easy to change(that seems a subjective statement)The rear trim panel comes off, remove the wire connector and you will find 2 or 3 bolts that hold the motor to the rear door identify them but dont remove them yet.  close the rear tailgate and remove the wiper arm from the rear wiper motor. then remove the jam nut from the base of the wiper motor. open the tailgate and remove the bolts that hold the wiper motor in. Installation is the opposite of removal.
