Jeep: Engine break-in, two choices, car dealer

Question
Hello,
I am in the final stages of purchasing a new 2003 freedom wrangler. I want a 5 speed rather than the automatic, so the salesman is currently trying to track one down. So far he has found one about 80 miles away. He said if thats the one I want I can either pay to have it flatbedded here or have them drive it here (for free). I am really bothered by this for a few reasons. First of all he said there is no break-in period so I dont have to worry about 80 miles of highway driving on the engine before its broken in. Secondly I dont want anyone else driving my car that I dont know considering how much money I am about to pay for it. Am I being too worried over nothing here? Is he lying about there being no break in period?

Thanks
Eric

Answer
Sounds to me like you have two choices, buy it or don't buy it.  If you can't work out an acceptable deal with this dealer, I suggest you go somewhere else.
As far as your dealer lying to you, it's been my experience that if a car dealer's lips are moving, they are lying.
