Jeep: Jeep Grand Cherokee, jeep grand cherokee, differential problems

Question
Hi Ron,
I recently replaced my front brake pads because I was experiencing a squeaking, almost metel-to-metal, sound whenever I slowed down in my 1996 jeep grand cherokee AWD. Funny thing is that I don't have to push on the brakes to get the sound to occur. I only have to roll at idle speed. It's  very annoying and can't be good if allowed to go on too long. Could it be a lubrication problem with the axle or maybe bad bearings? I really appreciate your insight as to what this might be and how, if pissible, I can fix it. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Answer
It could be one of a couple possibilites:

1) brake rotors warped and need turned by machine shop or replaced with cast iron aftermarket brake rotors
2) cv joint problems, dry bearings, etc.
3) front differential problems like bearings, seals, etc.
