Suzuki: rims, caliper clearance, locking differentials

Question
do u know if jeep rims will fit a 92 samurai? Not sure what year jeep the rims are off of. The samurai is strictly for off roading mostly on gravel bar and some easy trails. Also, what is the easiest motor swap for more power? It has a 4cl 1.3l in it know. One of the cylnders is scored, so doesn't run the best it could.

Answer
As far as I know jeep wheels from 46 through 85 jeep (cj models) have a same size bolt pattern and will fit a samurai.  I've never tried them, and have no idea about rim to caliper clearance, and whether the jeep offset will be enough to keep a wider tire from hitting the spring on sharp turns.  The 1.6 sidekick motor or the 2.0 vitara motor are the best choices, but if you can get a 1.9 VW Turbodiesel (with electronics) it's great.
If you're looking for highway power and speed, go with a bigger motor, for off-road climbing capacity, change the differential gearing and transfer case gearing.  I do rough rocky steep mountain stuff where you have to have crawl gearing to negotiate rough stuff without tipping. (not a good idea when there's the possibility of rolling down hundreds of feet of hillside)
Don't forget locking differentials for traction issues.  I have the Lockrite (essentially the same as spartan) and love it.  Don't need a big motor with 6.4 under t-case and low diff gears.
