Suzuki: no fire to plugs, haynes manual, head gasket

Question
I blown the head gasket between the #2 and #3 cylinders and replaced the gasket. I have no fire on my plugs now.  I now have fire coming into the distributor from the 2 wire plug off the firewall and from the coil. I have checked the generator and the pickup coil as recommended in the haynes manual and they both tested good. My friend had the same problem after he rebuit the top end he never got fire to his plugs and sold the zuk for parts. Please help. I'm stumped.

Answer
If the coil is making spark, then it can only be the cap and rotor, the wires, or the plugs.
Be methodical and go step at a time in order to know what was the offending part.
It is possible for any of the above, or any combination of them to be defective.
If you've replaced the gasket, it does not make any sense at all not to have replaced the cap and rotor, wires, and plugs.
If you changed the gasket, you adjusted the valves while the cover was off, right?  \
so do the rest....
