Suzuki: electrical, engine power issues, lights & dash dimming,, drop tests, heater fan

Question
QUESTION:  1993 sidekick
Driving no problems stop at a light and then poof no power spurting and then stereo died and lights dimmed and wont restart battery dead it seems, push start everything seems ok, then push throttle it works then it doesnt then does and doesnt then floods it self, stalls, push start and runs dies. battery is new-new, after starting and turning on the headlights near or on fuse pannel make noise.
stereo has a little power to get the faceplate to move but no lights in the deck.
There is definitely a lack of voltage heater fan slow and dash doing weird things rpm gauge not working then works then doesnt. I Mechanically inclined but no clue here.

ANSWER: It's probably a bad connection somewhere, one of the nastiest problems around.

Be methodical, and do voltage drop tests using a factory wiring diagram.

There are no easy short cuts.  Persistence and methodical tracing of EVERY circuit from both the positive and negative post of the battery is the only way.

Ps are any of the wires/connections near the battery corroded, even a little?

QUESTION: The wires are I guess a little bit I will clean them up.
Question:
Got back to the suv and it started right away and sounded great. It warmed up and idled perfect, hard hits on throttle and nothing, turn on the headlights nothing happens light are on then rev up to 3500rpm hold seems great, and poof slow dieing and just running no power and ability to push the throttle with out killing it and it stays running for awhile-10min just no throttle or it will die and then it dies. Let it cool down and starts again.

What could be heating up and causing a short or a large draw?
Starter, Alternator, coil, or computer?

Thanks for the quick respones

Answer
instead of a short or draw, I believe that there is a connection that is marginal (heat makes resistance go up, making the connection worse)  I've seen wires at the battery that were so severely corroded inside the insulator, that they couldn't power a component.
If cleaning helped, look around some more.....
