Suzuki: grand vitara front grease fittings, cv joints, grease fittings

Question
I have a 2001 grand vitara xl7... I have a squeaking noise in the front end.. I was told it is the ball joint or the cv joint or the shocks.. I was also told that if you grease them it could possibly stop the noise because living on back roads dirt may get in them so my question to yo uis where can I find the grease fittings for the ball joints? and do the cv joints have grease fittings? thank you...

Answer
IF there are grease zerks, they will be on the part of the ball joint attached to the A-arm.
A great many newer cars have no provision for greasing the ball joints, they use a VERY expensive high tech grease, and many ball joints live far longer than 100k miles.
There are no CV joints with grease fittings in my experience, however it is possible to get a "needle" (in reality it's about the diameter of a bic pen) and squirt some in by spreading the boot where it fits around the axle.  You would have to have a grease gun as well, of course.
