Suzuki: dashboard warning lights on 93 Suzuki Escudo, dashboard warning lights, electronic emissions

I am working in northern Mozambique in Africa, and just bought a '93 Suzuki Escudo from a friend who returned to Canada. There is no manual for it. I have a warning light that has come on in recent days that looks like a catalytic converter with squiggly lines coming up from it. Can you tell me what this light means? And how do I fix whatever problem it is warning me about. I've checked all the fluids and they're all fine. Thanks!

I'm sorry, but I have no experience with later vehicles, and the electronic/emissions control systems on those particular suzuki vehicles.  It probably means there is some kind of issue with the converter, but I don't have any books on that vehicle either.  All I can say is either get a service manual (NOT owners manual), or find a technician who has a good idea as to what the issue is.
