Suzuki: 1993 Suzuki Sidekick Clutch Cable Replacement, suzuki sidekick, clutch cable

Question
Hello, I have a 93 Suzuki Sidekick and I need to replace the clutch cable, but really have no idea where to start.. I have the new cable but cannot figure out how to remove the broken one.. Is there any way I can get a step by step guide possibly with pictures? thank you.

Answer
For pictures, you might try a Chilton or Haynes manual.
The easiest order is loosen the adjuster at the clutch release arm, remove the cable clamp bolts at the right lower side of the block, Go under the dashboard, and release the other end of the cable at the distal end of the clutch arm (from the pedal rubber), remove the bolts fastening it to the firewall, and withdraw the old cable.  Then snake it out from where it goes in front of and below the front of the engine.  Reverse the order to install, finishing with adjustment giving about one fourth of total pedal travel as free play.
