Suzuki: Loss of Power, mass air sensor, suzuki sidekick

Question
Hello,
I was reading your answer regarding the Loss of Power on a Suzuki Sidekick 16V, and the solution proposed could be replacing Oxygen Sensor.  My question is:
Could the MAP sensor or Mass Air Sensor be also be causing this problem?  I have a Sidekick with this loss of power problem, and I also notice a "Flapping sound" when I reach higher rotations.  Its like "gas is being sprayed out"  - I notice a loss of power and a Terrible gas mileage performance when this happens.  What could be the prob?
Thanks,
Derick

Answer
ANY of the inputs could be affecting this problem.  The mass sensor could be sending a faulty signal, the coolant sensor (for the injection) could be at fault, the oxy sensor could be the problem.  It is necessary to find out what the correct signal values are and compare them to readings on this vehicle.  It may be best to get a technician to attach a scan tool and see.....
