Suzuki: sometimes my tracker 99 loss power, fuel pumps, pressure gauge

Question
When I driving my car loss power and I have to pull over and wait 10´ or 20´ and star again I don´t not what is happen can you help please. Thanks

Answer
Two possibilities come to mind.  The first is that the fuel filter is partially obstructed, and is severely restricting pressure and flow to the injection system.  The other is that the fuel pump proper is marginal.  The way a technician diagnoses this is to install a pressure gauge on a long hose on the fuel pressure feed line and leads the gauge hose into the passenger compartment.  The vehicle is then driven until the malfunction occurs.  If the fuel pressure has dropped, the offending part is replaced.  If the fuel pump is bad, one would always replace the fuel filter at the same time anyway.  The warranty of all new fuel pumps requires a new filter to be in force.
