Tips on Buying Cars: buying from private seller, nissan 300zx, wiggle room

John,
I am a 50 yr. old man who has had a lot of cars. I am about to look at another used car, a 1996 Nissan 300ZX, that did not meet the sellers low reserve on ebay. I love the car, want to test drive it, then make him an offer.
What should I look for in the test drive, and what should I offer him. I have cash too.
What steps would you take?

Unless its a turbo model, you should have a decent amount of price wiggle room - because the car is decently old by now. To know what to look for in a test drive:
