Tips on Buying Cars: best time to buy, doug jensen, best time

I will buy a new car (Honda CRV) some time this year.  Can you tell me what time of the year is best to buy, if any?  Also, is it best to buy at the end of the month or does that not matter? Thanks for the advice. Doug Jensen

The best time to buy is usually towards the end of the year, and towards the end of the month may yield slightly better results but don't expect it to really matter, especially on a brand new in-demand vehicle (like the CRV).  The best thing you can do to get a deal is research, and lots of it, and try many different dealerships... Its also cheaper to buy any left over's from last years models... they are still new and can save you thousands... hope this helps...
