Tips on Buying Cars: q, salvage title, initial value

i was also considering buying a salvage title car since they acre extremely cheap. Im looking to buying one with only a small damage on the outside. Do u think that it's a good idea to purchase a salvage title car.

It depends on why the title is marked "salvage."  If you can take the car to a reputable and experienced body shop for an inspection, and that shop feels the car was repaired properly, then salvage-title cars can be a good buy.  But this is almost never the case with an average car, as most shops that would put a car back together with a salvage title are doing a quick and questionable job to start with.  I've seen 1 or 2 repairs to heavily-damaged exotics or classics, but those cars were worth repairing due to their high initial value.  But you'd probably be wasting your time to try and find a salvaged Eclipse that was even safe to drive, and he car will have no value when you go to sell it.
