Tips on Buying Cars: used car lasted three days, reading your mail, future transportation

hi i bought a used car and the seller assured me that it would last for years and great on gas.  three days later my mechanic said it would maybe last a week.  i have gone to this mechanic for eleven years because of his honesty.  do i have any rights?  can i get my money back?  can i kill him.....lol  just kidding?  what can i do?

If you bought the car AS IS then it means just that and you got no recourse.?

looks like your going to need another car and from reading your mail here are mistakes you made.
# 1...You trusted seller, did you expect him to say its a lemon.
# 2...Why did you not have mechanic inspect before your purchase ?
