Tips on Buying Cars: Used Car, chev cavalier, chrysler neon

I am buying my first car and would appreciate your opinion.  I have bascially narrowed it down to a choice between two; a 2002 CHEV CAVALIER or a 2002 CHRYSLER NEON LE both for the same price and only 1,000 kms difference.  The prices are in Canadian so I don't expect you to comment on the price.  I was just wondering which you think would be the better one for a young person begining their carrer in the city.  You can find the cars at the following sites.

With no other info my experience is that the Chev Cavalier is normally a better vehicle than the Neon.  Who owned the vehicle and how it was serviced obviously should enter into your decision.  Also, spend a few bucks to have the vehicle checked by a mechanic you Trust.  Best of luck to you.  Bud
