28472 or 23324 - - - I don't think that I would be able to get a car because of past credit problems.  I was told that the law states that I have a right to own a care; therefore, financial institutions have to help me to get a car.  How true is that?  I was told that it's called 'the right to own a car' law.

Every financial institution will be more than willing to help you...however they have the right to refuse if they feel your a risk...
Have you tried to get financing ?
If you have not and want some steps to follow let me know
