Tips on Buying Cars: Ford Ranger, mr olsen, ford guy

Mr. Olsen,

Howdy.  I'm an AllExperts expert as well.  I'm in the catagories of cameras and photography.  

I'm not a typical guy in that I've never really been into cars. I've only had 3 my whole life and I've had the one I have now for over 10 years.  But NOW I want a truck.  

So...  I don't know anything about what has a good reputation out there.  Safety, repair, etc.  But I've found a line I like (Ranger) and I'd like to get some opinions.  My girlfriend is into cars (she has a Durango) and is horrified that I want this thing.  What do you think of them?

John I answered this once and the message never took. I am sorry. I amvery biased when it comes to rangers because I am a ford guy. But it is the number one selling compact pickup in the world and also is in the top ten best selles in this country for 10 or so years. They are well built nice vehicles. They are do fo a body style change soon though because thew body is a little old. i wouldn't worry about a ranger at all. Great truck!
