Tips on Buying Cars: New car buying, old wives tales, hangovers

I have heard that you should avoid buying a car built on certain days of the week. Is there any truth to this, and how can I find out what day my car was built?

Answer
Many years ago there was a belief that cars that were built on monday were often problem ridden due to workers coming back from the weekend with severe hangovers.  This may or not have been true but with todays technology there are so many controls this is not a consideration.  Buy your new vehicle and enjoy it.  Old Wives Tales are interesting but should not intefere with your own good judgement.
