Tips on Buying Cars: what to use, plastic squeeze bottle, painters paint

Question
This is probably a stupid question. What do they use to write on car windows when you are trying to sell your vehicle. Its usually white. I have checked the auto parts stores, home depot.. What is it and where did I get it? Thanks for your time.

Answer
Hi Jallison and thanks for the question.  The white writing can be done with what looks like a large crayola and can normally be found in office supply stores.  Many dealers also use sign painters paint, which is water soluble and can be easily removed, but which washes off in a heavy rain.  The third is white liquid shoe polish sold in a plastic squeeze bottle with a foam rubber dispenser under the cap.  Hope this helps.  Good luck, Bud
