Tips on Buying Cars: What vehicle should i buy, kia sedona, gas mileage

Dear sir,
We are a family of 5 in Florida that includes 2 kids that play travel hockey. We will put 250 - 300 miles on our van on any given weekend easy. I have a 2010 kia sedona that i like and have had for a year, but with gas prices rising I am seriously thinking we may want to get a hybrid or electric vehicle. I don't see much so far that would fit our driving habits and size need. Would you have any suggestions? Even if we had to "squeeze in" from time to time. Thank you!

Your gas mileage is not terrible on the Sedona, and Kia is a very good vehicle.  hybrid vehicles though good in gas will be  costly to you. Unless you own your van free and clear, you will take a major hit in trading it in. The money you lose you will not make up in better gas mileage. What part of Florida are you in?
