Tips on Buying Cars: Selling my car, california dmv, personalized plates

Hi there,
I have a 2007 Honda Accord with a set of personalized plates in CA. I will be selling it shortly myself. My questions is what is the procedure (filling out the release forms, etc.)? Thank you!

Thanks for your question.  Are you selling your vehicle with the personalized plates or without?  If you are selling them with, then you need to do a plate transfer form which you can get from your local DMV.  If you are not selling the car with your plates, then you need to transfer the plates to another vehicle a form that you can also get from the California DMV.
