Tips on Buying Cars: Warranty Transfer, manufacturers warranty, level thanks

I have a general question on warranty transfer as a future pre-owned car buyer.

1. Is warranty automatically transferred to the buyer of the used car? Or do they have to sign in any legal transfer document?
2. What are the cases differtiating buying from a dealer and  a private party?
3. Does all car manufacturer transfer warranty to second buyer?
4. What are the chances of warranty transfer if the buyer is third or fourth level?

the manufacturers warranty is transferred. whether you buy from a dealer or private party. after the purchase, the new owner justs contacts the manufacturer, and they switch names on title. Very easy to do..let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks in advance~~
