Tips on Buying Cars: Extended Warranty Programs, hyundai santa fe, mfg warranty

Question
I am purchasing a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe LX 6 cyl, that has 71713 miles, on it and it looks good in and out.  I'm paying cash to avoid the finance charges.  Now I want to find a good, reputable company to provide an extended warranty.  I had the vehicle checked out by two mechanics, I did a carfax report, I checked Consumer Reports, I researched it on Edmunds.com, ran a price value through KBB and Consumer Reports and I looked at the dealer's record on the BBB.  Everything checks out, now I just want to get the warranty - any thoughts on thoughts on a specific company or at least where to look?

Thanks in advance,
Landon

Answer
Hi Landon

From reading your question I sure wish other consumers would follow in your footsteps, you done your homework, an area most consumers today lack finding the time in this busy world we live in and will blame their own mistakes on the seller " excellent surfing on your part "

As for buying an extended warranty there is no question the Mfg of that make becomes a top choice to consider, but price reputation and understanding the fine print will be the final answer.

Getting a free quote with no obligation will not hurt your pocketbook, go to this link on my website to view my # 1 choice   http://www.usedcartips.org/warranty.html    It's the only after market warranty I would consider to compare with a Hyundai Mfg warranty, price and reading the fine print will be the final choice, and that I am happy to note your good at.

Good luck
