Tires: tires, ford f250, wildcat

Question
I have (4) 8 lug wildcat tires w/rims. The size is 9.5 x 16.5 and apparently they go on an older ford f250 and I need to know what years. Thanks

Answer
Kim,

When selling tires and wheels, it is best to state what year, make, and model they came off of, and let the seller decide if they will fit.  That way YOU are not responsible if they don't fit.

But you should be aware that 16.5" tires haven't been OE since the early 1980's and there aren't many tires available.  My current recommendation is for folks to convert their vehicles to 16" because of the scarcity of tires.

It may also mean that your tires are old (and you should probably warn whoever buys them if that is so) and that the market for wheels is extremely limited.

I suspect you will not find a buyer, but good luck nevertheless.
