Tires: hondafrv 2007 model, honda frv, inflation pressure

Question
my honda frv is making a humming noise at the rear when I drive at a certain speed..

Answer
Naz,

There are a lot of reasons cars generate noise, so the first step is to perform a test.  Do a tire rotation.  It doesn't matter what pattern, but a simple front to rear will be easiest.

Did the noise change?  If it changed location, then it is likely irregular tire wear - which is caused by mis-alignment and aggravated by insufficient inflation pressure and insufficient rotation practices.  So get an alignment and hope the tire develop a new wear pattern that is quieter.

If the noise didn't change, then it is something in the vehicle and you'll need to have someone look at it.
