Tires: New Tires, chev optra, chevy optra

I'm searching for new winter tires for my chev optra stationwagon 2005.  At present, I have P195/55R15 on my car and am having a really hard time finding something that isn't going to cost me a whole months salary....
I need to find something that's going to work and be good on the road during our wonderful snow and ice filled season. Is there another size I can use?? What brand do you suggest??

My records show that the P195/55R15 is the correct size tire for your 2005 Chevy Optra wagon.  I would strongly recommend that you stay with that size for a replacement tire as its dimensions and load carrying capacity are best suited for your car.  As for a brand replacement I must remain neutral on that issue, but recommend that you check Internet sites where consumer feedback on tire brands can be found such as 1010tires or The Tire Rack.
