Tires: Tires, 2007 suzuki forenza, tire cupping

Question
I have a 2007 Suzuki Forenza with tire cupping and the dealer said replace the tires but nothing about shocks or struts should I have them checked atleast? A guy @ the tire shop said it will do it again because of the shocks. The thing that bothers me is the car is still kind of new and would it need struts so soon? Also if I get the struts replaced do I need to get the shocks replaced too? I have a lot of questions! What about replacing the strut boots or something like that? lol thats internet reading for ya! Is it ok to have non matching tires as long as the size is correct? 1 more thing if my tires are a 195/55/14 what other tire size can I use because thats suppose to be a special size for foreign cars like mine?

Answer
Cassandra,

Alignment will also cause irregular wear - and that is much more likely the problem than shocks.

Non-matching tires?  The principle is to have the front and the rear of the car balanced - and the more different the tire, the more un-balanced the vehicle is - and this includes wear.

195/55R14?  Are you sure about the 14?  Because my book says 15.  Assuming my book is correct, I see that Tire Rack offers 37 different tires, so there is plenty to chose from.
