Tires: load range c tires, tire and rim association, tire rack

Barry, where can I get a chart that tells me the max load for load range 'C' LT tires?  I have them mounted on a 2500 Dodge long bed 4x4.

The load carrying capacity of tires is very size dependent.  So if you have the tire size, there are usually specs published at tire retailers like Tire Rack or Discount Tire.

But a complete list is only published by the Tire and Rim Association - and you have to buy the book that contains ALL tire standards.  It runs about $60 - and it is against copyright laws to publish the list on the web.  But occassionally you will find excerpts published.   

But if you already have the tires, the max load is imprinted on the sidewall.  But be careful, this is a MAXIMUM (meaning ideal conditions), and it is frequently misinterpreted.

Perhaps I can be of more help if I knew the tire size and why you are asking the question.
