Tires: Tire Vibration, goodyear assurance tires, tire vibration

Question
I have 4 new Goodyear assurance tires that seem to be great until I had the tires rotated now the steering wheel starts vibrating between 65-75 mph. The type of pavement also seems to effect the harshness of the vibration?

Answer
David,

It is quite likely that there the tires have developed irregular wear, which is caused by misalignment and aggravated by insufficient rotation practice and insufficient inflation pressure.

Get an alignment - a 4 wheel one - and allow the tires to develop a new wear pattern, which will gradually reduce the level of vibration.

Then at 5,000 to 8,000 miles rotate the tires again, and the problem should be gone.
